The Broughton Coffee Morning organised by Sue Carter and ably assisted by husband Dave was a great success.

People were queuing well before the doors opened and sales on all stalls was brisk. Raffle tickets sold well and many thanks to those who generously donated prizes.

Thanks go to Lions Sue and David for the organisation, the other Lions who attended and helped on stalls, the ladies of the centre for their wonderful teas, coffees and biscuits and to all those who attended as visitors who made it such a success.

Lion Bob was extremely efficient at keeping us stall keepers replenished with tea but I did think the use of a french maid’s outfit would have added authenticity to his work.

The event was held to raise funds for the Sheffield Childrens Hospital and raised a total of £223.80
